New Year

2014 is coming. We may not know what will exactly happen next year but we already have the hope and initiative to fill it with good memories like every year that passes by. I actually wish for a better, more peaceful world. I guess aside from me, there are millions out there who have had their new year’s resolutions ready with a belief that everything deserves a change for better or worse. Happy New Year and may God bless everyone.

No More Pork

I saw this artwork last time as a preparation of the activists for the upcoming Million People March which aimed to gather more than a million people all over the Philippines to create a movement to abolish the Pork Barrel Scam which up until now isn’t yet resolved due to new discoveries of graft and corruption purposely done by the politicians and government employees.

I felt sad that the government even cannot handle the situation properly. Rumor has it that even the government is behind the issue and, thus, doesn’t want to abolish but rather rename this so-called fund and make it continue working in the government system.

As part of the common people of this country, Philippines, I never lose hope that someday this country is not listed anymore in the top corrupt nations as well as the a country where you can find peace and proper.

Light of Hope

Got attracted to take this shot. The “light” reminds me of people who are making it to the point that they’re already losing hope. I should say to you all, hell to the no! Life is something that we cannot judge, rewind, fast forward, change, and run it like we own it forever. Everything has got to be as fair as everybody faces different challenges everyday. That everybody suffers a disease. That everybody is having problems with money. That everybody gets rejected. That everybody loses someone. Dude, you’re not alone. There are many who are just like you struggling. You should always know that. P.S. “At every moment you can still see the light, do not lose hope nor give up. You reach for it.” LSP

The Solo Days

I shot this picture a week ago wondering for how many days I have been alone. Of course we couldn’t get along with the people we wanna hang out with everyday as much as we want to. Then, finally a thought came to me. Every single important person in our life is not gonna stay forever. I mean people pass by to visit us. We get to know them but they still have to leave to continue their journey. To meet new people. Also, not all of them will leave us. Some are still there to support us. Some will advise. Some will make us happy. Some will make us better people. Some will change us. And most of all, some will love us and will continue to love us.

Sagada At Sunrise

This was a shot from the viewpoint of the Kiltepan Peak in Sagada, Mt. Province, Philippines. At the bottom was the beautiful Rice Terraces and there were gorgeous pine trees everywhere. LSP
